The New Album From Plaid and Thirsty

Plaid and Thirsty’s new album “Mule Train” already is receiving airplay in 10 top U.S. cities. Paying homage to the Beastie Boys, Gordan Lightfoot and Duran Duran with its sing-along lyrics and references to the counterculture generation, Plaid and Thirsty are a unique blend of indistinct white guys.

Few albums (or groups) have been met with such a warm reception. After six months of touring bars and small clubs in the U.S., Plaid and Thirsty will spend the next three months playing arenas as an opening act for U2. Vanity Fair is doing a one-page feature on the band next month.
